LG Electronics pursues its 21st century vision of becoming a true global digital leader who can make its customers worldwide happy through its innovative digital products and services. LG Electronics set its mid- and long-term vision anew to rank among the top 3 electronics, information, and telecommunication firms in the world by 2010. As such, they embrace the philosophy of "Great Company, Great People," whereby only great people can create a great company, and pursue two growth strategies involving "fast innovation" and "fast growth." Likewise, they seek to secure three core capabilities: product leadership, market leadership, and people-centered leadership. Stackable or Side by Side? Your Choice. Less space? Try stacking the washer and dryer. More space? Place them side by side or under a counter. Don?t want to bend down so far to load or unload clothing? Add their 13.7" high drawer pedestals. It also doubles as a great place to store laundry products.

Rating: Time with product: 4 Months Strengths: quiet Weaknesses: doesn't dry. Summary: Even after a service call, this dryer does NOT dry!!! With the dryer practically empty and on the highest setting, it takes 2-3 cycles to dry!! Sensor control has never worked. |

Rating: Time with product: 3 Weeks Strengths: Great Performance, Quiet, Low Energy Use, Moisture Sensor in Drum provides auto-shut off. Weaknesses: Expensive, Requires rigid or semi-rigid metal duct which is harder to install compared to tin foil or plastic ducts. Summary: So far this dryer has been worth every penny. It has an intuitive control panel, just select your load type and start. Requires both electic (to light the pilot?) and gas. If properly balanced, does not vibrate much and has a pretty quiet operation. The auto-shut off feature prevents you from over-drying clothes and wasting energy. The Home Depot installers installed this dryer with a flexible tin foil duct by default and according to LG Parts & Service this can result in fire and/or death. Returned the flexible duct for a semi-rigid aluminum duct (paid the $5 dollar difference) and had to perform the install myself. |

Rating: Time with product: 2 Strengths: 7.0 cu ft, dry sensing Weaknesses: not that dry in normal sensing mode Summary: i have used other dryers with sensing mode and i must say LG fell short to deliver a good sensor. at normal and driest setting, some on my shirts' collar still came out moist after the cool down. I have to switched to cotton and driest mode and that still came out tiny bit moist, but better than previous mode. better luck next time LG |
