Rating: Time with product: 14 Days Strengths: Easy installation, fully compatible with GE filter, cheaper price Weaknesses: None noticed yet Summary: Tried this first due to cheaper price than GE brand filter and good experience on the Brita pitcher water filter. The unit is fully compatible with GE brand filter and fitted perfectly on my GE refrigerator. Not noticeable different between the Brita and GE filters so far, other than the Brita filter feels lighter in weight. Will buy again for this product. |

Rating: Time with product: 1 Days Strengths: Water taste good, easy installation Weaknesses: None Summary: I had no trouble install the Brita filter. Initially, the water stream was not stable. and the flow is also slightly lower than the GE MWF filter. After a couple of days, the water became stable, and the flow is normal. The taste of the water is good. Price paid is about 25% lower than the GE MWF. |

Rating: Time with product: 1 Strengths: Great tasting water Weaknesses: nothing Summary: I get great tasting water. The price is cheaper than a GE Filter. It installs the same way as the GE. It's the same size on the outside and is probably the same on the inside of the filter. Just a great product. |

Rating: Time with product: 1 Strengths: Easy to install. Better value than my old GE filter. Weaknesses: none Summary: I purchased this filter to replace my old G.E. brand water filter. It's a great value! The last time I replaced this filter I paid retail at Sears for a G.E. brand filter and paid over twice as much! Fits perfect, and a great value for your $$. |

Rating: Time with product: 3 Days Strengths: Perfect replacement for GE GWF filter Weaknesses: Had trouble installing at first Summary: The GE man tried selling me a 3-pack of GE branded filters, but I found out about the Brita brand and it was considerably less than what I was offered and researched on-line. I got a single unit and it looked the same as the GE brand I had in the fridge to replace. My fridge has an automatic installation mechanism: when I placed the filter under the holder, it sensed it and grabbed it and twisted it into place. Unfortunately, when I tried to dispense water through the fridge door, no water came out. I took out the Brita filter and tried a 2nd time and still no luck. The next day I tried again and success! Back to fresh tasting water. I would definitely buy the Brita again for the money savings. |
