Strengths: Gameplay and presentation are still very solid

Weaknesses: No major additions from the 07 edition

Summary: This is the PS2 version of NCAA Football 08. The 08 edition is basically the same as the 07 edition. Dynasty mode, rivalry and mascot games, scrimmage and spring drills are all back. Game play is pretty much the same with a few tweaks, like being able to shrug off sackers and easier blocks on kicks. The graphics and player animation have been slightly refined. There is a more visual difference between player sizes in relation to what position they play on the field. Overall, I would recommend this game to anyone who did not pick up the 07 edition. This is a very solid game. It clearly shows all of the benefits of being the eighth game in the series.

Strengths: graphics, ease of use

Weaknesses: basically the same comcept as earlier versions

Summary: The graphics are the exact same, the sound bites are the exact same, the plays are the exact same. The player control is amazing! If your a gamer at football, you'll notice it right away. The players are proportionately sized, meaning Player A is way bigger then Player B, but he is smaller then the offensive lineman. They gave outstanding players their unique skill, like speed, power and routes. Also, there is a new training mode, its something new to play with! If you have an earlier version,keep it, but if you are new to this.....try it out.

Summary: If you haven't experienced NCAA football, you need to. I was a madden fan for several years until I found this game. Since then, I buy them every year. This game is a lot of fun, but there aren't a lot of changes from last year. Has online mode, etc. One new thing it has is the personal shrine, which you have a place to view your greatest accomplishments/best game scores, etc. If you are thinking about buying it, just do it. NCAA football hasn't disappointed me yet and so far, this game definately meets my expectations! Always a blast to play!
