Rating: Time with product: 3 Strengths: Really seem to help keep it cooler Weaknesses: loud at high speed. loud at low speed. so called convent main power switch. it nice but if you want the fans to shut off you have to turn the switch off. meaning you can not turn it on by the control Summary: I would buy and most likely use on occasion not all the time only in warmer weather they need to address the fans on off on another switch or make it bluetooth on off so you can turn it on and off by the controllers and not have to kill the power to everything |

Rating: Time with product: 15 Days Strengths: Good fit and fan control is great option. Matches PS3 nicely. Weaknesses: Pricey and adds size to Unit. Summary: Keeps Unit cool for extended play. Fan control great feature but a bit noisy at the higher setting. Easily snaps on to unit without adding more wires for its own power useage. I noticed a difference immediately as to the length of extended time I can use the Unit - it would not freeze up. Wait for price drop. |

Rating: Time with product: 3 Weeks Strengths: Adjustable fan speed. Uses the Playstation 3 power cord instead of it's own power supply. Weaknesses: None so far. Price. Summary: THis is a great way to extenhd the life of your Playstation 3 console with a few clicks and your off and running. I really like the way you can adjust the fan speed. It does get a little bit load the higher you go, but not too bad. It's worth it to extend the life of your Playstation 3. I would reccommend this product to anyone who ownes a Playstation 3. Try and get it on sale. |

Rating: Time with product: 3 Weeks Strengths: - several fans to help keep temperature down- fits around PS3 seamlessly Weaknesses: - adds a little extra weight Summary: I originally was going to get the Pelican Air Flo Cooler that has that only turns on when needed, but requires it's own power supply. I did not want another cable and the Nyko intercooler uses the PS3's power cord, so I went with it instead.I haven't actually tested want the temperature is with and without the cooler on, but the PS3 runs relatively cool without it, so it's not really needed. I mostly bought it to extend the life of the PS3 by bringing the temperature down more than usual. The fan is pretty quiet when at the low setting and gets a relatively noisy when set to high, but if you are 5+ feet away, you shouldn't notice it unless the ps3 and tv is the only things running in your room.I would recommend to anyone looking to lengthen the life of their system, but I would wait until you can find it on sale rather than paying $30. |
