Summary: KitchenAid Electric Convection Wall Ovens have a design flaw with the Self-Cleaning mode and thermostat. After the self-cleaning mode is complete the thermostat is blown and the oven won't heat up at all, stone cold. I've replaced the thermostat in two ovens of the same design. Manufacturer's instructions are useless: tips like tripping the breaker, re-setting the oven, etc. do nothing to solve a blown thermostat. A service call is required, estimate $250.00, every time you use self-cleaning. The part is about $42.00 and the oven must be pulled out of the cabinet to repair.
