Rating: Time with product: 1 Week Strengths: Decent graphics Weaknesses: Everything else Summary: This game appears to have been rushed out to capitalize on the ad campaign around the movie. It's particularly difficult to navigate the main character; changing directions is too slow, and attackers can come at you from behind the screen where the camera isn't looking -- so you have no way of knowing where they are.Even the simplest of controls, like picking things up and dropping them, are extremely annoying.Unless you are some kind of Pirates completist, this game is probably not for you. |

Rating: Time with product: 2 Strengths: Graphics, dueling mode, all the little stuff you do in between fights such as collecting items for the game; exploring the towns in the game Weaknesses: fighting is repetitive and too simple. Playing multiple characters at the same time is dumb, because the other character is unable to defend himself. Summary: This game is for die hard fans of Pirates of the Caribbean only. Jack Sparrow is a little bit too tipsy. Fighting sequences seem like they are built for a five year old, and involve rapid pressing of one button. The strengths of the game truly are its stunning graphics and the settings where the game takes place. |

Rating: Time with product: 13 Strengths: The characters are very lifelike and true to the movie. Weaknesses: The fighting is very simplistic and you are mostly overwhelmed with more of the same. Summary: When I first started up the game, I was wowed by the graphics in the opening scene. Unfortunately, I was a little underwhelmed by the gameplay. The fighting mechanics are very simple and the find items task is a little repetitive. The camera can get stuck in some fighting situations, so that you don't see an enemy until he attacks you. Could have been a pretty fun game, but because there was no depth to the game play mechanics, it left you wanting. I couldn't recommend this unless you are really a die hard Pirates fan. |

Rating: Time with product: 7 Days Strengths: Cant think of any.. Put the Black Pearl for PS2 was Great... Weaknesses: It does not offer multiplayer coop for the story mode but there are 2 characters and u have to keep switching between the 2 to keep them alive. they keep adding chracters for u to keep alive alone...... Summary: they should have checked with the makers of Ultimate Alliance before putting this game out. Not enough fighting moves... Characters move to slow unless you put them on turbo mode.JUDGED.... |
