Time with product: 4 Months

Strengths: Looks nice. The microwave works very well.

Weaknesses: Can't bake in this oven. The broiler cycles during baking which burns the top of things. The bottom element is below the oven cavity which means it under cooks things on the bottom.

Summary: If you open the oven door while baking (to baste, feel a cake top, etc), the broiler element comes on. This burns the tops of things - especially things like a souffle or cookies or cake or bread or... heck, anything you are baking. KitchenAid/Whirlpool's answer was to "just lower the rack to the bottom". For a $3,200 oven, that's not a reasonable answer.

Strengths: Stainless steel looks nice and gives the kitchen a whole new look

Weaknesses: Fragile door

Summary: Just be careful with the door, it looks fragile. Having said that the microwave and obven combination looks beautiful in the kitchen. Convection microwave cooks food healthier and faster. I like it overall, and cannot go wrong with Kicthen Aid

Time with product: 2 Years

Strengths: Looks good. Convention feature is good.

Weaknesses: Lightbulb in microwave burns out quickly and requires a maintenance call to replace.

Summary: My unit was less than 2 years old when the light bulb went out. Kitchenaid doesn't warranty the bulb, but also doesn't provide a way to replace it without an expensive service call. Customer service didn't provide any service IMHO. Their documentation was poor and did not make it clear that the bulb is not replaceable. I would not have bought this unit had I known this in advance. All my previous microwaves had replaceable bulbs. Stick with GE.
