Rating: Time with product: 7 Days Strengths: Remote control, easy controls, thermostat is useful for maintaining a baseline temperature. Very cool looking! Weaknesses: Hard to see what settings are selected from across the room while using the remote. Bright Red LED on the front even if the unit is turned off, but still plugged in Summary: I bought this heater based mostly on the style. It is a very attractive unit that goes well with the decor in our bedroom. We bought it because for some of the year our furnace is not turned on, but it can get a little chilly at night. It is also used for keeping the room that we're in comfortable without having to pay to heat the whole house to the same temperature. I wouldn't use it except for in smaller rooms, or as a supplement for a larger whole house furnace, though. It just doesn't have the power for that. Perfect for bedrooms, living rooms, offices, etc. |

Rating: Time with product: 3 Days Strengths: Attractive design, easily accessible contols, heats evenly and quietly, remote control a nice extra Weaknesses: None worth mentioning Summary: A super unit - takes up very little space, easily moved from room to room, a variety of temperature settings, quiet oscillator, timer a plus. Our upstairs is very chilly during the evening, and we transport the heater between the bedroom and the bathroom. Surprising heat output for the size of the unit. Highly recommend. |
