Strengths: High-action, arcade styleMLB teams and playersdecent wii remote interaction

Weaknesses: impossible (for me anyhow) to beat the cpu in play at homeuse of remote for throwing to bases does not work well

Summary: The Bigs for the Wii is a very entertaining game. The rookie mode is great as you can design your own player and enhance his skills by completing challenges and playing games. Throwing to the bases using a throwing motion with the wii remote does not work very well. Luckily you can use the D-pad to throw to the bases as well. Overall, this is a great game.

Strengths: MLB-licensed. Fun, arcade-style play.

Weaknesses: Control of players can sometimes be frustrating. Takes a little while to perfect how you control your players.

Summary: There are two main types of sports video games--the realistic types (Madden) and the arcade-style games (Hitz, Blitz, etc). This game falls into the latter category, and that's where it excels. The game is MLB licensed, which means that you have actual ballparks and real MLB players, a real plus. Since it's arcade-style, be prepared for high-scoring free-for-alls. This game typifies how sports video games were meant to be.

Strengths: 1st Real interactive baseball game made for the Wii

Weaknesses: Haven't been able to figure out all the contrals yet.

Summary: Totally satisfied so far with The Bigs. The graphics are ok and the gameplay is rather real. Still working out how to use some of the controls but this one certainly has the potential!
