Rating: Time with product: 60 Days Strengths: Robust, easy to use. Support Windows 2000 while Norton/Symantec does not support it. Weaknesses: Slow, Resource hog, NO version number on the package! Summary: It supports Windows 2000. Norton/Symantec does not support it any longer! This is a small name software against spyware. It's robust and easy to use. But I am not sure what is the value added comparing to the free spy-bot SD. It is a resource hog and will slow your computer if your pc is an old one. The packing also needs improvement. I tried but cannot find any version number on the package at all! |

Rating: Time with product: 1 Months Strengths: easy install and updates Weaknesses: Not very effective, not part of a software suite Summary: Relatively decent software as long as you keep it updated. But being a stand-alone, it does not include anti-virus or firewall protection, these needs require a different program, that probably has anti-spyware already included. Actually Webroot offers such suite themselves. So buy a suite instead, not a really good value by itself |
