Rating: Time with product: 1 Months Strengths: Great adjustability - able to fine-tune amount of "toastedness" Weaknesses: Big footprint 12-1/2x11-3/4in but not a big deal. Not a speed king BUT I'll gladly trade speed for the ability to adjust toast quality.Top tray incorrectly installed at factory. Summary: Lots of nice features - bagel setting; defrost setting and easy toast removal lever. This makes great toast! The fine adjustability is a nice change form the usual, burnt-to-a-crisp vs barely toasted adjustment of some toasters. The warming tray is actually useful! Be careful though because it can burn things if you are not watching. That being said, my unit was shipped with that top tray so tight I though I was going to break it before it actually popped out. I bent the tabs properly so it now comes out without issue. The toaster does have a bit of a learning curve as to the proper settings but once learned, you can be assured of consistent repeatability. The finish is extremely nice and cleans up easily. I would probably give it 3-1/2 stars if I could because of the items I mentioned above coupled with the price - a little high compared to some other offerings - but overall I'm very satisfied. |
