Time with product:
Strengths: goes through RE series, good graphics, decent and lengthy for a lightgun game
Weaknesses: can be slow for a lightgun game compared to HOTD. levels can drag on. no calibration
Summary: RE UC is a decent off-title to the RE series. It covers the entire series and revisits areas from the older games but in a lightgun perspective. This is a fun game if you have another person to play with. Lots of weapons, upgrades, and levels to go through for a lightgun game. It's pretty slow however as a lightgun game, and there's no calibration to let you aim "through the sights" of your Wiimote or Wii Zapper. Still, this is a good game if you want to shoot some zombies. If you want faster paced, go for HOTD 2+3.

Time with product:
Strengths: fun, good history, lots to do
Weaknesses: on rails, repetitive, not scary
Summary: Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles is a solid light gun type game. It is a good recap of Resident evil history and is fun to play. Gets a little repetetive but there is a lot to do. Overall, 4 out of 5 stars.

Time with product: 2 Months
Strengths: If you like shooter arcade-like games, this one's a must. Arcade-like play and interactivity at its best.
Weaknesses: Requires a TV with good contrast. Some of the button assignments take some getting used to.
Summary: Individuals who enjoy popping quarters into the arcade game first-person shooters will enjoy this game. The arcade-like play simulates what you find in physical arcades. The biggest problem is that you need a TV with an excellent contrast ratio, or you will be missing a lot of the detail and background in the game. This is especially becoming a problem with the advent of LCDs as popular TV choices. If you have a lousy LCD TV, you won't be able to see what you're shooting.

Strengths: Graphics: Finally something written for Wii rather than ported from older generation consoles.
Weaknesses: Rail Shooter, not typical FPS.
Summary: It all depends on your taste. I personally prefer traditional FSP, where I have control where to go and the speed I go thru the game. Umbrella Chronicles is a rail shooter. The game control your movement and the speed you move thru the game. All you do is aim and shoot. Shooting is one aspect of games. Another important aspect is exploration which is missing in this type of game.I still give this product 4 star (very good rating). The game is fun and fast moving. Enjoyable to play. One complaint is the interface for ammo. Instead of telling you how much ammo you have left, you get green color for a lot and red for low. I still haven't figured out out what is a lot vs low. Provide ammo as a number.
