Strengths: The motor is strong and powerful. The attachments are easily installed and removed. Very pleased.
Weaknesses: Yet to find any other than you have to hand wash the bowl and attachments.
Summary: This is a great mixer. You may debate if the cost is justified but as an owner of one of these, I can tell you it was well worth it. It should serve your every mixing need for many years to come. Enjoy.

Strengths: Product material say if I had ANY problem, within the products first year, that customer service would arrange to send me a new machine, and then make arrangements for the return of the original.
Weaknesses: I haven't found any yet, except maybe that the purchaser has a requirement to be willing to learn how to cook, read recipes, spend time being in the kitchen - it is fun.
Summary: I've gotten a bit obsessed with the macine. I've done many internet searches for accessories and have discovered the Kitchenaid forums - a chat group for those who use their machines a lot or those of us wanting to get there. They provide alot of useful information, so check them out. They are obsessive, so something I've been looking for.

Time with product: 2 Weeks
Strengths: Strong Motor, Bowl Size, Made in USA/Canada
Weaknesses: Large footprint, only comes with one bowl, expensive to replace attachments.
Summary: Upgraded from the K45SS model (26 yrs old) to get larger bowl size. I make a lot of double and triple recipes and the old machine struggles with a double batch. This machine ran fine w/triple batches (12c flour + rest of ingredients). Bowl held it all, only had to power up to 6 as opposed to full power (10). The motor is only slightly louder even though it is so much stronger. There is a slight wait when changing speeds. Even though it is several inches taller, it still fits under the upper cabinets and does not have to be pulled out to use, because the head does not tilt up.

Strengths: Powerful
Weaknesses: Loud
Summary: I used to have KitchenAid 325W stand mixer, which makes one 2.2lb dough. With this new powerful mixer, I can make two 2.2lb doughs. That's way easier for me. The only weakness is the sound of running motor, which is louder than my 325W mixer.

Strengths: silent, tough motor, performance.
Weaknesses: none so far
Summary: We finally were able to find one at great price and lot of recipes will be easier to make. We just started doing our filled bread from our home country and it was just as easy as making pancakes. No doubt we will be getting the accessories to make more stuff.
