Strengths: Removeable and dishwasher safe surfaces (2), little storage space required, and double temperature controls.

Weaknesses: Cord is rather short, but still works for me.

Summary: We received this as a wedding gift, but already had a brand new high end electric range, so we didn't think we'd use it that much. Good thing we didn't return it, because we use it more than we ever imagined. I love the the ability to cook bacon on one side and pancakes on the other (primary use, can't beat that breakfast). We've only had it a week and only used it a couple of times (already more than expected), but we absolutely love it! Beats using our range any day!

Summary: This is a great griddle for those of us who are short on cabinet space. It folds up to a manageable storage size and can stand up on end in the cabinet. The surface area is large enough to cook a good amount of pancakes at the same time. It has separate controls for each side for doing different items at the same time and both sides heat evenly all the way to the edges. The only things I don't like about the griddle are 1)the short cord - I had to totally rearrange my counter space to make it workable for me and 2)the space in the middle where it folds makes it very hard to scramble eggs on it - but on the plus side to that at least the plates overlap so if food runs into that area it hits the bottom plate and is easily cleaned off. It is easily the best griddle I have ever owned.
