All around the world, the Bosch name stands for innovation, quality and product diversity. First and foremost, a dishwasher needs to get your dishes clean. Really clean. Bosch dishwashers are engineered to perform at the highest levels, to spotlessly remove even the toughest soiling. Think baked-in spinach. At the same time, smart technologies ensure that Bosch power is directed in a way that smartly manages energy and water consumption, and protects delicate items, preserving their brilliant shine wash after wash, year after year. When youâ??re looking for silence, efficiency, safety and convenience, look no further than an Evolution dishwasher. Their legendary noise suppression technology makes these machines among the quietest you can buy, while superior energy and water efficiency mean theyâ??re both environmentally and economically friendly. Their CHILDLOCK latch prevents children from accidentally opening the door and theyâ??ve placed controls and status displays on the outside panel for instant access.

Strengths: Quietness

Weaknesses: Doesn't wash well. Has a foul odor continuously. Door is hard to open. Capacity is much smaller than other dishwashers. Price is too high for what it does.

Summary: I am very disappointed with Bosch Dishwashers. My new unit ( only 5 weeks old ) and has an odor everytime you open the door and the odor is not food scraps in the disposal. It takes 2 1/2 hours to run a cycle and they dishes are not clean. Door is hard to open. Load capacity is 20% - 25% smaller than other dishwashers. The price of this unit is over priced for its performance and features. Bosch power tools are the best there is, but their appliances leave a lot to be desired. I am taking my Bosch back to the retailer for a refund and am going to buy a good Maytag.

Time with product: 2 Weeks

Strengths: very quiet, easy to load, cleans beautifully

Weaknesses: It locks so tight that I have to actually push the door in to latch.

Summary: I would buy it again without any hesitation. It is by far the quietest dishwasher I have ever used. I don't have to scrape the dishes and they come out sparkling and completely dry. It is also very easy to adjust the height of the top rack, and the fold-down bars give you lots of flexibility in loading.

Strengths: Energy star ratedWater conservationDetergent conservationQuiet!!

Weaknesses: Digital display is sometimes hard to read

Summary: I would highly recommend this unit. All of our dishes are exceptionally clean. The sanatize option is a great feature. The basket adjustablity let's you fit anything of anysize into the dishwasher. It also holds a great deal of dishes. It's water conservation is what appealed to me. This results in it being very energy efficient. Less water and therefore less detergent is used, which is another plus. This unit is so quiet - you barely know it's running except for the lights and countdown timer. In all - I am highly impressed with the engineering of this unit and would recommend it to anyone.
