Time with product: 7
Strengths: Energy efficient, low water usage, quiet, easy to use, cleans clothes well
Weaknesses: None so far. Some may not like the longer wash cycle compared to a top loader. That being said, the drying time is significantly reduced because the clothes come out of the washer so dry.
Summary: I researched this washer for a long time and am happy with my purchase. I have only had this washer for a week, so I am still in the honeymoon phase. It runs like a dream. It is so simple to use! My clothes are so clean, my dryer takes half the time of my old dryer, I LOVE THIS WASHER! I have heard complaints that front loaders start to smell. I was advised by the salesman to keep the washer door ajar all the time when not in use. Also, run a towel around the inside lip of the washer once or twice a week to remove standing water. I would highly recommend this washer.

Time with product: 3 Weeks
Strengths: Great Capacity and Performance, Quiet Operation, Easy-to-clean filters, Stylish, Energy and Water-Saving.
Weaknesses: Requires HE detergent, must leave door open and laundry room ventilated after each use, takes longer to wash clothes than commercial washers
Summary: So far this washer has been able to handle anything we've thrown at it, including King-Size down comforters (tells me I still have two ticks left in capacity!). If properly balanced, there is barely any vibration and it's very quiet.

Strengths: Clean, Easy to read layout, Sleek design
Weaknesses: Still have to stoop to pick up your wet laundry
Summary: by kenfused, from Unspecified on Apr 13 2008Strengths:Sleek design, Solid Feel, Well placed controlsWeaknesses:Still have to stoop to pick up the laundrySummary:The LG WM2455HW is a fantastic washer. Right after we set it up, it had a very pleasant Power Up "song", plays a nice little tune, then you get right to wok. When you load it up, it handles any amount of laundry! We have done loads almost 2x the capacity of our old top loader and the LG did it all, and it was MUCH MUCH quieter! And according to our water company uses less than 50% of the water of our old machine. Includes about 9 different clothes settings, and tons of other custom controls. When the clothes come out they feel bone dry! Some of our fleece stuff just needs to be hung up a few hours and they are already dry, no need to run the dryer as long!

Time with product: 3 Days
Strengths: Really cleans clothes. Lots of wash options.
Weaknesses: Vibrates and loud during spin dry cycle but I haven't really heard a quiet one yet.
Summary: Not recommended for use on second floor if you are sensitive to noise. Vibrates and loud during spin dry cycle but I haven't really heard a quiet one yet. Energy star saver. I got a rebate from my gas company and water company for buying this washer to offset the cost. Picked this washer because of the larger capacity. Works so much better than my old washer. Our baby's clothes come out very clean.

Time with product: 2 Weeks
Strengths: Spin cycle and low water use
Weaknesses: Needs to be on a pedestal but the LG brand pedestal is too expensive
Summary: The spin cycle really is amazingly fast. It throws out so much water that the dryer really has an easy job finishing up the drying process. I like the controls and the displays. Everything is very user friendly. The washer holds much more than my old top loader too. With no agitator to take up all that room, I can fit large blankets in there with ease.At just over 6' tall, I don't like how low the opening makes me bend so I wanted the pedestal that matches this washer. But at roughly $150, on sale, it is just too much to pay. So I built my own for the price of a sheet of plywood, some screws, and a few 2x4's.
