It extracts juice from carrots effortlessly. I am pleasantly surprise how good tasting the juice is when using fresh produce.

I hate plastic. This one is metal. It has a great, commercial look to it. Even the toggle switch to move between high speed or low speed has a good feel. The big red button is to shut it off. And a really cool design element is a patented cord plug, which has a big hole for your finger to go thru...makes plugging and unplugging it a snap. It's one of those things you wonder why you didn't think of yourself. If you're wondering about the juicing, don't. This thing could probably juice a brick wall.
