Rating: Time with product: 2 Months Strengths: Unable to determine. Weaknesses: Poor user interface. Confusing. Uses resources. Hard to train. Requires advanced knowledge. Summary: Boy, did I blow it! This is one of the poorest choices in software I have made in a very long time. Whether or not this programs catches virus and spyware I have no idea. What I do know is that it is very cumbersome and very difficult to fine tune. I'm sure that it is a powerful and flexible system, but if you do now know exactly what you are doing, if you do not have an advanced knowledge in "ports" "protocols" and a lot of other jargon, you will be up the creek without a paddle. There is technical support if you can stand to wait 2 days to get a response from Russia! There is also a forum but it may only be useful if you know exactly what you are asking about. A general statement like, "it just doesn't seem to work," will get you nowhere. This program may be useful for network managers and IT professinals. The rest of you 100 milliion users should look elsewhere. |

Rating: Time with product: 6 Weeks Strengths: Easy installation. Does not interfere with network. Quick updates. Doesn't slow down machine very much. Weaknesses: Blocks web sites that should not be blocked. Summary: I am pleased with this Internet Security Suite. It has the controls and flexibility I need. They could work on improving the web site blocking as some seemingly harmless sites are blocked. |

Rating: Time with product: 90 Days Strengths: Ease of Use, Less system resources, Frequent Updates, Excellent Price with promotions Weaknesses: No phone support, Customize some default settings Summary: Comes in package with their best Anti Virus, Firewall and Spyware protection. Took very less resources on my laptop, and excellent performance on 64 bit Vista. The only issue that i had in the initial stages is to access some banking sites, and i contacted Tech Support through email and followed their suggestions and no issues from then onwards. I strongly recommand this product. |

Rating: Time with product: 1 Week Strengths: Parental Control included. Daily updates available. Weaknesses: Need to tweak many settings to be fully protected. Summary: This is a great all-in-one package, but you will definitely need to adjust some settings after installation if you want to take complete advantage of the software. The manual is pretty thorough, and most people won't have too much trouble setting it up. I did not find that IS 7.0 slowed my somewhat older machine down at all. It does the initial scan to clean out any installed malware, but then it was smooth sailing, running quietly in the background and constantly updating itself. I do have to see if I can further configure it as to when to block pop-up windows because there are a couple of sites where I want the pop-ups. Overall, I am pleased with this suite protecting my machine. |

Rating: Time with product: Strengths: You can fell safe with this software Weaknesses: Maybe a little use unfriendly, but far better than others Summary: I use it, recommend it and install it on all my clients computers. It saved me the other day when i could not clean a computer with a Trojan, installed Kaspersky and one scan cleaned it, after hours of trying other software. I recommend it. |
