I had an existing multi-tap, but unfortunately found it was not compatible with the new slim PS2. The Slim PS2 slots are smaller, which made my 3rd party multi-tap worthless. I had to go out and buy a new Sony brand PS2 multi-tap for multiplayer purposes. Sony?s multi-tap works great no problems what so ever. Unfortunately Sony?s multi-tap is much more expensive than other 3rd party brands. I?m not sure if 3rd party brands have adjusted to the new slim PS2?s size. To avoid hassle, if you are in the market for a multi-tap for the slim PS2, Sony?s works great.
