Strengths: slim, more ram, lighter, tv output, white color
Weaknesses: none, design on battery cover
Summary: I have both the phat and slim editions, and I could easily tell the difference of weight. After playing with both psp's, I prefer the slim due to the height of the device, my hands feels more comfortable playing. I guess I have small hands. Other than that, they are identical. I have yet to test the tv-output as I have no reason to. Same price, more ram. This is the one to get!

Strengths: Lighter, Darth Vader on back. Comes with free game
Weaknesses: Inserting UMDs feel a little flimsy
Summary: This is the new lite version of PSP. A must have for star wars fan, it has Darth Vader on the back & comes with a free star wars game. The game is great & a nice bonus, but it should have come in a proper game case. At least they included the manual. Now about the PSP hardware. The color is ok though I prefer darker colors. It feels nice in your hands & lighter than the original version. Component output lets you connect it to your TV, but the picture quality is not exceptional. Still its a nice feature. One thing I really do not like is how the UMD area appears cheap & flimsy. You are never sure if the UMD is resting correctly. The earlier version was much solid in this area. Overall its nice with maybe better battery life, but if you have the older version - you are not missing out on much, unless you want this bundle for collection purpose. I am sure this will be really rare in future

Strengths: White finish is nice and doesn't show fingerprints as much as black model. Game included is pretty fun.
Weaknesses: No memory card included. The bundled game is only $20 at retail now, so this bundle actually costs $10 more than buying a core model PSP and the game separately; essentially paying $10 for the color
Summary: I finally decided to purchase a PSP after being a DS owner for a couple years now. I'm literally blown away by the graphics of the PSP compared to the DS. Not only are the games far more detailed but the PSP is great for watching movies (whether they're UMD or on your memory card) and listening to music on the go. Just make sure you get a high-capacity memory stick if you want to take advantage of all the PSP has to offer. Unfortunately, no memory stick is included, which makes sense, considering that the bundled game costs $40 when this bundle first came out. I really like the white finish and since I'm a big Star Wars nerd, I like the Vader print.

Strengths: Cheap price. Everyone says it is expensive but compare to what it can do, 199 worth it.Nice Design. Especially the buttons.God of War psp doesnt have clear buttons.
Weaknesses: Short battery life.Too much scratches. Should have put screen protector.
Summary: Compare to NDS, I think psp is much better game console. You can play music, video and even connect to internet which is slow but not a bad deal.White psp is probably the best one out there in America.Red psp hurts your eyes, black psp can get really dirty.Maybe silver is another good one.but in conlcusion, this is really good deal and i highly recommend it.

Strengths: quicker load times, lighter, capability to play on your TV
Weaknesses: battery life, Rogue Squadron pack in
Summary: The main attraction of the pack is, of course, the 2nd gen PSP. It?s lighter and thinner than the original PSP. After playing around for almost a year now, I slightly prefer the ?slim? over the original (I still have both). I really like the option of being able to play on my TV using the component cables. My only issues with the slim are that it?s sometimes harder to grip (slimmer and slicker plastic surfaces) and that the battery life is about the same as the original (should have been higher). If you want higher life, you can use the original PSP battery pack but it sticks out of the back making the PSP as fat (on one side) as the original. Plus you?d have to obtain a new cover to have the battery covered. Re: Renegade Squadron, I?m not so hot on it. The space battles look great but the ships are difficult to pilot. The ground battles are pretty good and the upgrades on character options keep the gameplay fresh. It?s an ok title.
