Summary: This PSP kits comes with two discs, one is game Daxter, and the other is Simpsons movie. This small game station has multimedia functions such as picture display, movie play, locationfree (software pre-installed and free). It has memory duo pro slot so you can easily view your photos from your camera by swapping the memory card. I put large amount of video clips on the memory card so I can play them on the go, but you need extra software in PC to convert regular video files to PSP format. The screen is quite big and it's very comfortable to watch movies on it. The locationfree function also allows me to connect to my locationfree server and watch movies on my other PCs and even TV channels. It's such as good multi-functional multimedia gaming device!

Weaknesses: Doesn't come with screen protector, headphones or case; even with a protector, screen gets dirty very easily.
Summary: Sony's PlayStation Portable trails Nintendo's DS in overall sales, but I don't understand why. The PSP is a true multimedia device, allowing users to play video games, watch movies, surf the Web, listen to music and even use it as a GPS device if you buy an expensive attachment - all while on the go.The PSP Daxter Entertainment Pack is a nice starter kit, but a few things are missing.It comes with the PSP Slim Ice Silver model, which is an improvement over the original black system. The directional buttons are raised higher for better control. The system loads games faster than its predecessor. It also has a new video connector port that allows you to play games or mini UMD movies on a TV. Unfortunately, you have to buy the cable separately.The pack comes with the hilarious platforming adventure game "Daxter," which is one of the best for the system. Also included are a "Family Guy" best-of collection and, most importantly, a 1GB Sony Memory Stick Pro Duo.I've already downloaded tons of game demos for free - there are many to try. You also can purchase, download and play old PlayStationOne games on your PSP.It also can be used as an MP3 player, though it won't allow you to listen to DRM-protected content like iTunes. But if you rip any CDs you own with a non-iTunes program on your computer, you can upload them to the PSP with the cable that's included.You also can store videos and photos on your PSP, as well as surf the Web through a wireless connection.As good as the Daxter Pack is, it does lack a lot of important items that I bought in a separate $20 starter kit at Walmart. The most-important thing that's missing from the Daxter Pack is a screen protector, but headphones, a carrying case and a protective rubber skin would have been welcome additions as well.Overall, the PSP Slim Daxter Pack is a great value at $199.

Summary: In addition to the new silver color and streamlined size and weight, this bundle includes some great accessories for only marginally more than the standalone black model. Fingerprints don't show as badly on this as the Piano Black.

Strengths: Ability to play games, watch movies, play music, check email & surf the internet. Menus are easy to navigate.
Weaknesses: UMD door does not lock. Screen would scratch easy without protection.
Summary: Wow, what a fun product! I cannot wait to take this on our next long plane trip. This is my first portable game player and I am impressed with its versatility. So far the only small gripe I have (other than the weaknesses I listed) is that I wish it had an integrated stand to make viewing movies much easier. However, I can live with it. I will be interested to see how long the battery lasts on a long trip.

Summary: This PSP is a great purchase it will keep you entertained for a long time. You have the ability to watch movies, surf the net, and play game with the PSP. This new and improved PSP is light weight and and has faster loading times than the old one. Overall this is a great buy.
