Rating: Time with product: 4 Strengths: NONE-could not install under 64 bit VISTA. This was not specified when I made the purchase. Weaknesses: Advertised to run under Vista OS. However after trying to install, learned it would not install or operate under 64 bit version OS. Sage support says there are no plans to modify the software to install or run under 64 bit OS. Summary: Have been trying to get a refund back from the manufacturer (Sage software).Been using ACT! faithfully since Ver 2, now I cannot use my 4000 contact business database on my new computer unless I convert to 32 bit Vista OS. |

Rating: Time with product: 30 Days Strengths: fit for the needs by small buisnesses Weaknesses: running slow Summary: I have been a long time act user, going from dos 2.0 to act 6.0 (and now to act 10). I got a new computer, and needed to upgrade as it came with office 2007. I had read the terrible reviews and was terrified of upgrading. I did the upgrade by following all instructions and knowledge base articles to the letter. I was waiting for the computer to explode or the devil to show up in my office, but everythign went exactly as it should. The program has worked exactly as it should. There are a few things I dont like, but that is probably more due to me being used to doing things one way for the last 5 years. For the record, this is a one person install of a private database with no network requirements (ie pulling a shared database off of a server.) In addition, the new computer is very high end (4 gigs ram, 2.5 dual core, etc.) Hope this helps. |

Rating: Time with product: 30 Days Strengths: Comprehensive task master Weaknesses: Runs slow, expensive. Summary: ACT! integrates nicely with Outlook, Word, and Excel so I can work with files that I already have. I can track contact information and make sure that I always know where I am at with my small business clients. It is also fairly easy to learn how to use. I am always looking for ways to clean some of the clutter out of my head! It does, however, take up system resources and doesn't run as quick as I would have hoped for a $200 application. Overall, a decent, serviceable product. |

Rating: Time with product: 2 Months Strengths: none Weaknesses: slow Summary: ACT! 2008 compared to prior versions is extremely slow. This software is very hard to install and it keeps on getting error.when you "upgrade" to ACT 2008, it wipes out all prior versions of ACT. Hence if the 2008 upgrade fails, you cannot simply open or reinstall your prior ACT as it is gone and ACT 2008 hidden remnants will not allow you to reinstall prior versions of ACT |

Rating: Time with product: 1 Months Strengths: have all features needed by small buisnesses Weaknesses: slow down the computer Summary: This software is quite nice since it has all features that will be useful for any small business. It is included with track sales opportunities etc. It also comes with high impact email and OfficeReady. The only thing is that it slows down computer after installation. |
