Strengths: This game is fun to play. Great for kids who love Star Wars.

Weaknesses: Too Easy. Can get through the game relatively quickly.

Summary: My seven year old son loves this game. The game relatively easy to get through, but it's fun going through the Lego scene from the movies. I've also enjoyed the game and it's one of the few games I can play with my son without one of getting frustrated.

Weaknesses:

Summary: This is a very good game to introduce video gaming with. My five year old isn't very good but he is getting better. With this game, I can jump in and help him if necessary and back out when he has it back under control. If you die, no big deal, pop right back. Yes, you lose some studs (the items your collecting) but that's what separates the masters from the padawans. Explore and have a good time. There is lots of stuff to see.

Strengths: Cute graphics, fun gameplay, lots of unlockables

Weaknesses: Very short, aimed for a young audience

Summary: Lego Star Wars is the retelling of main points from the first three Star Wars movies using Legos. All of the on-screen characters and environments are made up of Legos, and when destroyed, they turn into Legos. The game looks good and the gameplay is fun. There's a great deal of unlockables in the game, and it will be played through more than once, since it's very short in length. It's a fun game, even if aimed for younger gamers, and Star Wars fans should give it a look.

Strengths: Lavish use of the Lego and Star Wars licenses; Variety of characters; Smooth gameplay

Weaknesses: Short; Simplistic

Summary: Lego Star Wars for Xbox hits a bull's-eye for its target audience. The game is simple enough for young players, but it's fun for the older crowd as well -- especially if you reminisce about your childhood days playing with Legos and Star Wars toys. The game takes you through the Episode I, II & III storylines. After completing levels you can return to them as an alternate character -- and there are a ton from which to choose. Additionally, intuitive and often humorous use of force powers along with a cooperative play option round out the best features of the game. This game is fun. My 7-year old son loves it, and I enjoy playing it with him. It's not a serious game per se, but it's well worth a try if you are (or used to be) a fan of Legos and Star Wars.
