Strengths: Easy setup and coordination of information and works well with TurboTax.

Weaknesses: Finicky if you try to change settings. Loads too many icons on your desktop.

Summary: I purchased the '08 version of Quicken Home and Business to help me be able to track my expenses and income from my business and personal records in order to make my taxes easier to file. I feel like this program does a decent job of helping my track my expenses and stay organized(which can be challenging when you're self-employed). After installing the program, it was easy to get started and to begin transferring data and coordinating with my banking website. I didn't really have any problems getting setup. This program is probably geared more towards beginner to intermediate level users as the more advanced users would probably be a little disappointed by some of the programs limitations. Most people, however, should be pretty satisfied with this program as a means to organize their personal and business records and finances.

Strengths: Worked like it is supposed to.

Weaknesses: Still a bit confusing to download all of the required information.

Summary: This is a great product but does require some know how. It wasn't the easiest program to download to. Also it took a little time to figure out the components.

Strengths: Ease of use. Ability to download financial & investment account data from many institutions.

Weaknesses: None found.

Summary: I use it to automate tracking of both home and business expenses. Financial information from bank and investment accounts can be directly downloaded into Quicken for analysis and importing into Turbotax. Report feature lets you develop reports of categorize transactions which is a great tax preparation tool.

Time with product: 2 Years

Strengths: Great all-in-one financial software

Weaknesses: Nothing that I see yet

Summary: I have used previous versions of Quicken for personal use. This will be my first time using the Home and Business product. The new features for TurboTax, invoicing, and etc. are the things that most interest me about the product.

Time with product: 60 Days

Strengths: Pretty interface

Weaknesses: Cumbersome transfer program

Summary: If you are not using any accounting software package, then Quicken might be the way to go. Based on my experience, I would not recommend switching from MS Money to Quicken. The provided transfer program is cumbersome and time consuming, worse, it gives you inaccurate figures. To set everything straigth would have taken me several days. I found it simpler and more economical to chalk up my investment in Quicken to experience and also bought MS Money Home & Business Plus. Quicken may be a tad more elegant than MS Money, but the bottom line is that I am getting done what needs to be done with MS Money.
