Weaknesses: Firmware, basemap, topo map/aerial photo selection and uploading to unit, geolocation accuracy of maps/photos and resolution of images. Summary: I was initially attracted by the promise of the XM radar overlay of topo maps or aerial photos on a hand held GPS navigator. The basemap that comes loaded in the unit is quite stark, only showing the most major highways in my heavily populated area. The Bushnell website for downloading topo maps/aerial photos need a lot of work to be considered user friendly and the downloading process was a tedious, confusing and inexact experience. The product manual and online help is vague and not terribly helpful. The displayed positions (of downloaded maps and photos) were often as much as a few blocks off from my actual location. Aerial photos lacked detail for ground level, on foot use. The unit occassionally froze up requiring removal of the battery to restart. Displayed navigation data was either lacking or erroneous as my compass display page was always 120 degrees off of my course. Tech support never answered my email and there seemed to be only one guy who knew anything about it when I called - he was out. I have a lot of experience with GPS units and this one is just not ready for release. I gave up and returned the unit.
