Time with product: 10 Months
Strengths: I have loved my washer for the past 10 months! It cleans great and because it spins out most of the water, the drying time is cut literally in half, if not more.
Weaknesses: My washer has been out of commission for a month now. My problem isn't with the washer as much as the repair timing. The part I need has been back ordered for three weeks!
Summary: I bought a whirlpool specifically because I thought I would avoid having to get it repaired. My Hotpoint worked for fifteen years without a single repair and you would think that after spending so much on this one, it would last quite some time without a problem. Not so! The warranty coverage should be for at least three years since there are so many computer parts that can easily go bad. Would I buy it again

Time with product: 3 Months
Strengths: Nearly Silent; So many options to clean the clothes; does a superior job with stains; we found one on a great sale...
Weaknesses: When spinning it can end up twice as loud as when on any other cycle. It is not the least expensive washer out there.
Summary: We got this a few months ago. This is one of the most awesome washing machines I am aware of, save for the commercial jobbers used in hospitals that can handle more clothes at once...We had to find a way to spend the tax rebate check...really I bargained with the wife that she got all of the new appliances she wanted this year. We were able to find homes for our used appliances with other family members so were happy all the way around. I bought via pricegrabber recommended internet dealer. It arrived quickly unscathed and we saved a ton by going this route. Free shipping and no tax...Wow...I set it up the following weekend. The worst part was making it level...odd set up to level the machine but 10 minutes later and all level. We started that day using it...the first couple of loads were different but we got the hang of this and the the dryer...yes a double purchase of twin machines. A week later I managed a mess on my clothes while cooking...put the stain away setting up on the machine and the clothes looked like before I used them in the kitchen that week. Great job. Whites are also coming out less dingy. We replaced a 12 year old machine so that may be a factor but overall the features on the new machine contributed to the cleaner clothes. The housekeeper likes it a lot more as well.Buy it and love it!!!

Time with product: 3 Months
Strengths: Takes up a large amount of space
Weaknesses: Quality Unnaceptable for a company like Whirpool
Summary: We waited months to receive these new models... and were we ever wrong. The washer clunked out 2 times already. It cannot handle even a normal load. The steam does not work as advertised. In the latest failure, the washer died and the door in blocked, so all the clothes cannot be retrieved. The factory service takes 3 days to arrive. The dryer quits typically 7 - 12 minutes before the program is up. Needs to be reset several times to finish a cycle. A total nightmare. I wish I could return these products even with a big restocking fee. Whirpool does not care. Very dissapointed that a company like whirpool would release untested products like these.

Time with product: 2 Months
Strengths: Cycles & Features; Steam Function; Capacity; Appearance; Front-Load & Energy-Saving
Weaknesses: Price; Longer Wash Time
Summary: This washer has all features you can think of, and it even includes the latest Steam fuction. Its huge capacity lets me throw in a few comforters without any problem. The best part is that it uses much less water and energy compared to the traditional top-loading washers. The high-speed spin also helps on drying the clothers more quickly. However, the high-speed spin may also shake off anything on top of the machine if you didn't level it right. That's what happened to us at first. If you are going to put this in your garage, make sure you measure your space before you buy as you need more clearance for the door to open. In addition, don't freak out when you first see the estimated washing time as it's a totally different animal from the traditional washer. I'm fine with the longer time once I understand the benefits from this machine.Overall, we're very happy with this washer and would recommend this to anyone who's looking for a quality washer with all latest features.

Time with product: 2 Months
Strengths: Efficiency,
Weaknesses: None
Summary: Before we made our purchase, I read many reviews. The only "negative" I found on this machine referred to a musty smell or mold problem. We have no problem here! You just have to follow the instructions...run the clean cycle once a month and leave the door open when not in use. Not a problem for us. As far as performance, we love it. Our whites are so much whiter than they've ever been. I can't believe how dingy our whites used to be... I have used most of the different cycles. My favorite - the Hand Washables! I don't have to hand wash my handwashables anymore. I have washed very delicate items in the handwashables with complete success. I also love the sanitize option - recently we had a little stomach virus at our house and it was put to good use.
