Rating: Time with product: 3 Months Strengths: Fast, addictive gameplay Weaknesses: Way, way too repetitive despite illusion of many mini-games; loose interest after a while Summary: Fusion Frenzy fills the bill when it comes to Xbox party games. It's fast, furioius fun for local multiplayer gaming. Whether it's racing, knocking each someone off a platform, or Tron-like elimination games, there's no doubt that a small group will have fun with this game. However, the game claims to have a lot more mini-games than it really has because a lot of them are slightly modified clones of one another. One other note: The difficulty is a bit too high for my six-year-old so keep in mind that younger ones may still suffer a bit.Recommendation: Get it if you're craving something like Mario Party on Xbox. It's not as cute or slick as something like Mario Party, but it's the only thing that comes close on Xbox. |

Rating: Time with product: 3 Strengths: Awesome party game. Kids love it. Fast paced, and little boredom Weaknesses: A little too violent for young kids. No story mode. Single player is dull. No custom tournaments. Summary: Fuzion Frenzy is a party game. Lots of mini-games, many of which are surprisingly fun.Its assets are the intuitive interface and setup, and the quickness with which you can get into the action. You can play a tournament, or select individual mini-games. Everything is well explained. It's biggest drawbacks are the limited nature of the games and the uninvolving character design and setting. Mario Party has all the Nintendoness. Other party games have been built around licenses. This has a bunch of anonymous and essentially indistinguishable tweens with attitude. It's hard to feel involved with your character if the designers apparently didn't either. But, really, the characters aren't that important. It's the games that shine. Fast paced, with good graphics and good balance. If you have some friends, you're bound to have a lot of fun and find games that appeal to you. If you're a fan of party games, this is a worthwhile game to have. |

Rating: Time with product: 10 Months Strengths: Multiplayer, Graphics, Lots of minigames Weaknesses: Bad single player mode Summary: This game is really good, but I think it is best when played with other people. The single player mode means you get random games from the whole list, where some aren't as good as others. When you play with other people, you can choose the best minigames and play those keeping score of who wins the most games overall. It's a very fun multiplayer game, I think it's just the single player mode that leaves something to be desired. |
