Strengths: Great bargin if you don't already have the games; great gameplay; fun take on the Star Wars universe; lots of places to explore
Weaknesses: Basically just the first 2 games with a few Wii tweaks; not a whole lot new
Summary: Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga is the first Wii game in the Lego Star Wars series, but in many ways it's just a slightly upgraded version of the original 2 games that were released on the Gamecube (and almost every other system!). This is by no means a bad thing-- the Lego Star Wars games are some of the most imaginative (Whimsical?) takes on the Star Wars universe and are a blast to play. There have been a few tweaks added here and there for the Wii (such as light saber control), some of which work, but most serve more as bullet points for marketing. Thankfully they don't take away from the game at all-- they just don't add a ton. The good news is the soul of the game hasn't changed-- they are still a lot of fun. Definitely recommended if you don't already have the original games, but the graphics and sound are fairly similar between the Wii and Gamecube (the Wii is better but not by a whole lot) so if you already have the first 2 games, you might want to rent and see if you want to take another trip through these games. 4 stars-- they're very fun, but it would've been nice to see a bit more in the package. The good news is if you missed out on the original games last time around, they're back, better than ever, and you only need to buy one game!

Strengths: Star Wars Lego-ized, mix/match abilities
Weaknesses: NPC sometimes is cumbersome
Summary: Since I have a huge backlog, I hadn?t had a chance to pick up this title when it was two parts. Glad to see that I didn?t miss anything and saved a few bucks only having to buy this one disc. I?ve only just started and so far, it?s a lot of fun. Not terribly difficult at this point, hopefully the difficulty picks up as the chapters move on. Graphics and audio are good (I heard cleaned up from the originals) and the controls are easy to pick up and master. My only gameplay quibble is having to control two characters at a time in certain portions of the game/story. The uncontrolled character (NPC) is fairly useless on their own in the single player mode. Your current controlled character will have to intervene periodically so that your other character doesn?t get themselves killed or stuck.

Strengths: Lots of fun for the family, good in depth story mode, good concept with light saber control
Weaknesses: Not fully utilize control, boss battle are fairly dull, frustration can elapse from a lack of accuracy of the control and repetition of game play.
Summary: The game is pretty good for Star Wars and Lego fan. It pretty much take all 6 episodes of Star Wars and stick it into one game, from the perspective of lego characters. There are a lot of funs, of course the full light saber control was not fully utilize with the wii sensor motion. Some part of the story can be very repetive and frustrating. Overall, a pretty good buy, especially for a family game.

Strengths: familiar game, easy to play, creative, includes a lot, no 4 player action
Weaknesses: graphics not as good as PS3 or xbox360, can be repetative
Summary: if you played previous non-wii lego star wars games...a lot will be familiar. it's a good value since this game is the saga meaning it includes both the prequel as well as the classic game together. plus, add the fact you can finally swing the wii like a lightsaber...you have yourself a pretty cool game.it's still limited to 2 players, but this is still a fun game. if you played (and passed) the previous 2 games star wars lego I and II, then this wii game might be a bit boring for you. but if you're a fan of star wars, this is a must pick up game.get this if it's on sale, otherwise a rental.may the force be with you!

Time with product: 2 Weeks
Strengths: fun, cute characters, fairly easy
Weaknesses: Could be more challenging
Summary: This has been a fun game although like many wii games it is quick to progress through the levels. My 2-year-old was frightened by the way characters fall apart and a heart bounces away, so it's not for playing in front of little ones (I guess because it was Lego I thought it might be.) Still lots of fun!
