Strengths: Steam, fast,

Summary: This is a great dryer. My wife really likes the steam. It is very fast and does really gets rid of the smells. It is very quite and drys very fast. I like the timer function. The chime is a nice addition. I am not sure if steam is necessary for washer but dryer it is pretty nice.

Strengths: Large tub. Easy access to lint filter.

Weaknesses: Sometimes seems to take a long time to dry.

Summary: This is one of the high-end models with Steam Fresh dry. Lots of options. Works well. But wonder if we'll ever use all the features it has. If not, did we really need to spend extra for all these extra features? Drum size inside was a major consideration as well as recommendations from friends with LG washers/dryers.Most of the time, we have just been using it like any other old-style simple dryer ... Normal, Perm Press, Cotton/Towels, Heavy Duty. When venturing with the Steam Fresh drying on some new dinner napkins purchased for a dinner that evening, wanted to remove the new-towel smell and creases of the folds without washing and just using Steam Fresh. Well, that was a utter failure. Perhaps it's only good for fine fabrics like silk or thin negligees.Still, it's a fine dryer. About the only other complaint is that inside the tub where the plast lint filter housing attaches to the metal rim of the door, hair gets caught and the hair won't pull out ... the hair the breaks and some hair remains behind.
