Strengths: The dryer's dual humidity sensors detect moisture in the load & adjust the drying time accordingly. This keeps you from under or over drying your clothes. u can save your favorite drying cycle.

Weaknesses: There are none! This is a very Fast, Fast Dryer.

Summary: I Have had all the top brand EXPENSIVE Gas Dryers. This has been the best so far and the best part was it was NOT expensive for being a steam dryer!! I used to dry a load of towels for about 60 minutes and sometimes longer (Plus the Dryer would stop before the Towels were even dry), now it is less then 28 minutes to dry Towels with this LG Dryer!! To dry clothes is even quicker, and this has a speed Dry feature which just blows me away as to how quick the clothes are dry. This machine is well worth it. This Dryer also has the Remote Monitoring System feature, which makes it easier to keep tabs on your laundry. All you have to do is plug the modem into any outlet in your home and it communicates with the machine to display the time remaining in the cycle. Your repeated trips to the laundry room are over!!! Some of the Features for this Machine are it has 9 Drying Programs, 5 Temperature Levels, 5 Drying Levels, Precise Temperature Control with Variable Heat, Large Drying Rack, There is a Wrinkle Care Option, Delicate and Ultra Delicate Cycles (Which a lot of Other Brands ONLY have Delicate, You can also Custom Program the Dryer, There is a Child Lock Feature as well.

Strengths: Quiet. easy access lint filter, dry sensor and stackable

Weaknesses: DOA, support was not helpful.

Summary: Works fine after LG fix the problem but quality control really needed. Large drum which is nice. I tried the steam fresh cycle but it didn't remove all the wrinkles on my permanent pressed shirt. I purchased this gas dryer in Feb and it took 3-4 weeks to have LG come and fix it. There's no heat for the dryer and support insist that is installation problem or pipe problem. I had a total of five visit from Home Depot and PG&E came over to my house and the problem still exist. Finally, support from LG came and found out the unit had a bad gas valve. My brand new dryer was totally disassemble to replace this unit :( I wish LG came early to fix my issue.
