Get into the game like never before with the Perfect Shot for Wii. The Perfect Shot is ideal for shooting games on the Wii and is fully compatible with all software designed for the Wii Blaster. The Perfect Shot is designed for one handed operation, giving an pistol-like grip for all your shooting games. The accessory pass-through port also allows for use of Nunchucks and other accessories while the Wii remote is docked in the Perfect Shot. The tactile trigger also provides a smooth, natural activation of the B-button for less hand strain.

Strengths: (1) A more solid and gun-like alternative to the Nintendo brand Zapper (2) Well constructed and feels like a quality product

Weaknesses: (1) A newer version is coming out that offers a second trigger below the main trigger - this second trigger will activate the A button (while the main trigger operates the B button).

Summary: The Perfect Shot Gun is currently the best and most authentic way to play shooting games on the Wii. The pistol shape feels great and is weighted just right. The Nunchuck attachment plugs into the bottom of the gun handle which allows you to use it in games that require the Nunchuck. The only drawback of the Perfect Shot is that only the B button is easily accessed while holding it. There is a newer Nyko gun product coming out that will add a 2nd trigger that activates the A button - I'm not sure if I would actually prefer a second trigger, though. Overall, the Perfect Shot is a great value and adds to the immersiveness of Wii "light gun" type games (Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles, House of the Dead 2 and 3: The Return, etc.)

Strengths: -More realistic feel than the Wii Zapper

Weaknesses: -The clasp for the wiimote is hard to remove/insert sometimes

Summary: I preordered this accessory once i saw it. I always found the Wii Zapper to be too clunky. When I played a gun based game, I wanted to feel like I was using a gun.Thats where the Perfect Shot comes in. It's pretty simple. It's a plastic gun that encases the Wiimote. It feels sturdy and its not hard to keep this aimed at a TV for a long period of time.My only gripe is that it can be a pain to remove the Wiimote once it is in there. Because of that, I can't give it 5 stars.

Strengths: Comparable controls to Nintendo's Zapper

Weaknesses: Size

Summary: I have the Wii Zapper, but don't like its design much. I wanted a more traditional gun like you would find in an arcade. The Wii Perfect Shot Gun by Nyko fit the bill. I have an average sized adult hand and found the size of the gun to be on the large side. I do like that once your Wii remote is placed inside the gun that it really gave it some heft to the weight of the gun. It works great with the House of the Dead 2 & 3 Return by Sega and Resident Evil The Umbrella Chronicles by Capcom. I found the accuracy and control of this gun to be comparable to the Wii Zapper.

Strengths: Solid construction, nice feel, easy to "load" the wiimote, also allows use of the nunchuk

Weaknesses: Wiimote wrist-strap must be removed, pistol grip slightly short for an adult hand, trigger slightly stiff for younger players

Summary: Aside from a few minor facets, this is a great accessory that works very well. My 6 year old got this specifically to use on the Wii Play Duck Hunt, and he gives it a big thumbs-up.The gun itself is solidly built, though ever so slightly barrel heavy when loaded. The compact frame means the grip is slightly too short for my hands, but it's not unbearable and a good compromise toward a younger target audience. The only design issue with it involves having to remove the wrist strap before loading the wiimote; a slot in the back to slide it through would have been nice, but that's just me being picky. More importantly, there should have been a lanyard attachment point at the base of the grip to reattach the strap.Aside from this minor annoyance, if you're looking for a "light gun" for the Wii, you won't regret this purchase: highly recommended.

Strengths: Very Light, Accurate, Awesome!!

Weaknesses: None

Summary: We are very satisified with this gun! We bought a few more because it is so excellent. Very Accurate when aiming, and I like the weight, its light, but weighted properly. I'm not a sharp shooter but I do enjoy shooting once and a while, nothing beats the Wii and its fun games, this only adds to that!
