This game features two games in one - the complete Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) game plus a multiplayer Zelda game! In the one-player mode, A Link to the Past, Link receives a telepathic message from Zelda, imploring him to help. He must find the Master Sword, then travel to the Dark World to defeat Ganon and restore peace to the land of Hyrule. In the multiplayer game, Four Swords, between two to four players take on the roles of young adventurers who answer a challenge from the Triforce. They must brave the dangers of multiple dungeons in a quest to find the Master Sword. Their strength will be tested by fierce monsters, their wisdom tested by complex puzzles, and their courage tested by having to cooperate with each other to overcome obstacles.

Rating: Time with product: 2 Years Strengths: The same game as the SNES classic, A Link To The Past. One of the best games of all time. Weaknesses: None. Summary: This is the same game as the SNES classic, The Legend of Zelda: A Link To The Past. This game made me a fan and is one of the very best games I've ever played. The game's extra quest, Four Swords doesn't mean much unless you have other players to play with. A multiplayer adventure with Zelda kind of ruins the whole Zelda adventure feel. Zelda is suited for just a one player game. Buy the game for the main quest, A Link To The Past. If you've sold your SNES and can't play LTTP, do yourself a favor and buy this and play it until your heart's content! |

Rating: Time with product: .5 Months Strengths: Good multi-player, good single player, neat added sub-quests that the original didn't have. Weaknesses: Gets VERY BORING after you beat the game once of twice, too easy. Summary: This is one of the best games that has ever came out for the GBA with the game exactly the same as it's forgotten SNES version, except for the few sub-quests that you are able to unlock once you fufill a certain requirement on the other game (ex. get Master Sword in Single, get beam in Multi. ex. Get ten medals in Multi, get the Lumberjack sub-quest in Single.). Unfortunately, this is the only aspect of the game that keeps it entertaining after you beat the single player mode and multi player mode. Thank god that the Multi Player mode has three, count them, three levels of difficulty, Silver(easy), Gold(hard), and Green(hero/expert). All and all, buy this game if your a Zelda fan or if your looking for a different type of gaming experience! |
