Strengths: Some of the best graphics ever on the XBox

Summary: Ninja Gaiden is one of the most gorgeous games on any system..Period. But this beauty doesn't come without a beast. This game is so hard, that I think I almost broke my controller every time I played it. It comes to the point where it is actually frustrating. And to think they are soon to be releasing Ninja Gaiden Black which has an even harder version on it. Expansion packs are available via X-Box live to extend the value. This game is nothing like the arcade version from years ago, or the NES games that share the same name. However, the NES games are present in this version for unlocking. Thats a Bonus in itself. Hard, but definitely worth a purchase if you love ninja games.

Weaknesses: Camera Angels, Some bosses are HARD

Summary: Tecmo Ninja Gaiden has the best blend of graphics, action, and story telling out for the Xbox. The single player game blows away even Halo in my opinon. The levels in this game are tough to beat but feel rewarding when you finally accomplish your goal. The game personally took me about 15 hours to beat and the added bonus of the Hurricane packs allows you to go at it again with different enemies and a fixed camera angle. As Ninja Gaiden Black will be coming out shortly, I'm not sure I can recommend this game at full price right now, but if you can find it cheap or used, do yourself a favor and pick it up, you won't be disappointed.

Summary: this is one of the best games ever made.my opinion is its the best action/adventure game to date.team ninja made a classic because its the best ninja game made.the graphics are jaw dropping.the graphics are certainly right up there with doom3 and splinter cell chaos theory.there are no flaws or glitches that i saw,and the cg cutscenes are unrivaledthe controlls are great because there not complex and ryu has so many moves and combos you probaly wont use half of them

Summary: Tecmo's Ninja Gaiden is an incredible action/adventure game for the Xbox. This is one of the best titles for the system. Everything from the cinematics to the sound have high production values. Graphicly, Ninja Gaiden is one of the best looking video games ever made with equally smooth gameplay to go along with it. The downfall of Ninja Gaiden is the impossible difficulty of the game. There is no Easy setting and the Normal difficulty is almost impossible to finish. This really kills the game since most people will not be able to see all of the beautiful graphics the game has to offer. The game is fun to play but dieing a lot is not fun after a while. All in all, Ninja Gaiden is still a masterpiece of gaming even though it's a flawed one. A-

Summary: Ninja Gaiden is without a doubt one of my favorite games on the Xbox. Everything about this game is high quality. The visuals could be the best the Xbox has ever seen. Team Ninja knows how to push the Xbox, and the lighting and detail are absolutely beautiful. The gameplay is great. You hack and slash your way through thousands of enemies with a huge variety of combos and weapons. The puzzle solving and exploring is very well done and the cinematics that move the story along are stunning. The game is long for a third-person action game and will keep you busy for a long time because the difficulty is extremely high. Even after you finish the game, you can download the Hurricane packs from Xbox Live to add new enemies and weapons to give you a new experience the next time through. This is a must buy for anyone with an Xbox.
