Rating: Time with product: Strengths: Does not make my computer slower.Quick in identifying viruses/worms Weaknesses: None Summary: This software i think is the best one out there. First of all, it was very easy to set up. I could not see my computer slowing down which was the case with my previous software. It also gives me warning if i am visiting risky sites. Overall quick satisfied with its performance. It also downloads the update periodically and fast. Good performance for the money. |

Rating: Time with product: 3 Months Strengths: Professional grade performance. Efficient at its job; catches threats that others miss. Weaknesses: Can be pricey - watch for rebates. Summary: Kaspersky is probably the best security software that I've purchased. It is thorough in its scanning, although the deep scan mode can be quite time consuming. It seems better at catching viruses and stopping threats that other programs miss. One standout feature that Kaspersky offers is hourly updates; important if you expect to catch fast-spreading worms in time. This package is very user friendly, allowing the user to configure almost all settings much easier than most similar programs. It isn't nearly as bloated as some (i.e. Norton), running efficiently and silently. If top performance is what you're after, you've found it here. |

Rating: Time with product: 2 Months Strengths: has all the needed features I want in an internet security package. Weaknesses: conflicting manufacturer rebate addresses Summary: I changed to this brand from another major Internet Security brand and am happy with the change. This edition uses less computing resources and has less "bloat" than my previous brand. The firewall that this software uses is intuitive and works well. Parental controls are also a plus. I would purchase this again. the rebate company has changed and there was conflicting information (two different addresses) as to what company to send the rebate to. |

Rating: Time with product: 6 Months Strengths: all in one package, good for multi-computer family Weaknesses: as any security software, it slows down my computer Summary: Compare to Norton, Mcafee, and Kaspersky Antivirus, this package not only includes all the functions I need and avoid the trouble to buy differect software for antivirus, firewall, anti-spam, identity control, etc, but is easy to install and use. I need to update the database every day and sometimes need temporarily stop it to have some websites work. Other than that, I am satisfied. |

Rating: Time with product: 5 Strengths: easy to use, frequently update, free update Weaknesses: none Summary: I chose Kaspersky, have loved it ever since, and recently upgraded (free) to version 7.0 - an even better product. It runs fast, easy to install, easy to use. Most important, it did not slow down my computer obviously. I am very happy to find a new Antivirus product replace Norton which always slow down my computer. |
