The sound and video is excellent as it should be with hdmi. The connection is straight forward from your PS3 to your tv.The cable however is short. You need to make sure your console is close enough to your tv. I found other hdmi cables that were longer and for less money. The second USB cable is a nice bonus, but not really necessary because the game controller is wireless.

Summary: Great if your afraid of the infamous "Warranty Void". (They can't void your warranty with a product Sony made for the PS3)Cable are long and great quality.1.3a is the best quality on the market right now, but most people cant see the difference in quality as long as the cable is 3 meters (6.6ft appox.) or shorter.I got this one just cuz I love sony products, even if I dont like their customer sercive.
