bit-tech Review
"Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures doesn’t bring anything hugely new to the table and the only real gimmicks it has going for it are the franchise behind it all and the fact that you can’t take two steps without faceplanting into the second biggest pair of boobs you’re ever likely to see. It’s a fun and accessible RPG though, and on that front it can’t be faulted." - 5th June 2008

Strengths: Graphics, first 20 levels
Weaknesses: Bugs, still Beta when released.
Summary: Played this for the first 30 days and then stopped. Great voice acting and play for the first 20 levels. Graphics were much better than other MMORPGs. Ran into a lot of bugs, it was like playing a beta version of the game. If you like to create and play multiple characters like I do it will get boring real quick as you have to play the same quests over and over for the first 20 levels.

Strengths: Outstanding, immersive graphics. Combat system is fun and actually requires you pay attention! Solo or group playable. Next generation up from WoW.
Weaknesses: Gets a bit monotonous with the only playable race being human. Everyone basically looks the same.
Summary: If you're a hardcore WoW fan unwilling to accept a superior game has come along, then don't bother buying this. You will just end up like everyone else complaining that your system isn't up to spec or find some other excuse not to like it. Age of Conan is fantastic!!

Strengths: Soloing is easy, Destiny Quests were relatively fun.
Weaknesses: Too much like WoW, economy seemed weak, hack-slash MMORPG
Summary: I was really looking forward to this game, the previews looked good.... The game just was not fun for me, it was too quest oriented and didn't seem to have a strong economy. Mind you, I made it to about 34 as a Necromancer so I never really got to experience the tradeskill system but the game just didn't appeal to me. As a necromancer I found the only strategy I had for fighting was the same for me as that of a tank or a priest.... tanking while casting a few spells. I played for the month trial and then just canceled my account.

Strengths: Slightly entertaining
Weaknesses: System requirements
Summary: Although the game is fun, make sure you know the system requirements before buying it. If you don't have a "gamer's" computer, this is not the game for you. As far as I could tell, there was no crafting or auction hall in the earlier levels. Overall, it's an Ok game, but not one of my top 5.

Strengths: +good combat+visuals
Weaknesses: -UI looks!
Summary: Overall, this game is a lot of fun. However, some of the decisions the team implemented made the game sort of frustrating, like the UI decisions and stuff like that. However, overall, a really solid product.
