Weaknesses: can't sharpen short pencils Summary: I love just love it!! My kids keep dropping the color pencils. The same color pencil that the lead keep falling off when using a regular small sharpener, this one can actually sharpen it so well and the lead doesn't fall off. It sharpens so sharp that it's wonderful for adult to write fine lines, but a bit too sharp for kids to handle. Simply don't sharpen till the Autostop function will solve the problem. Since the motor is deep inside the plastic cover, I am not able to sharpen the kids "mini color pencils" since they are too short.

After using it for a few days I have to admit that the old one was probably worn out a lot earlier than we thought. As far as pencil sharpeners go, this thing is pretty nice.
