Strengths: realistic play

Weaknesses: graphics suck, commentary boring

Summary: i am a long time player of fif08 and tried ps3's PES 2008 and a bit disappointed. Play is not as fun as fifa for those who like arcade type soccer as opposed to PES realistic play, commentary is better on fifa, so is online play. Next years version of FIFA will have further enhancements that will beat PES to the ground. Also PES lags alot in online play.

Strengths: None

Weaknesses: Graphics, video lag,

Summary: Just like many people who had played the PS2 versions of the Winning Eleven franchise, I was excited to play Pro Evolution Soccer 2008. Boy how i was disappointed. The graphics leave a lot to be desired. Players like Rooney and Gerrard look 10 years old than they are. There is also an annoying video lag when replaying. Also you'll be gutted to find out that the PS3 version only has 15 stadiums.
