Summary: I thought the guitar would look cheap since it's half the price of the known guitars and plus it says made in china. Surprisingly it was quite sturdy. It feels like good quality. The bad thing is that the keys seem a little further apart and it doesn't have a strap. For the kids, they prefer the strap as it will be less tiring after few songs. The other thing it that the size is a little larger than the original guitar that came with the game, but overall it's a good to have second guitar for battling.

Summary: Just got my wii and several games of Guitar Hero 1 2 3 and bought extra guitar for extra fun. this guitar is very decent for its price. Very nice appeal and ease of use. if you play other guitar this is very much the same. I would buy this for our kids

Strengths: The strength of the Nyko FrontMan Wii Guitar is the price. Bottom line: great after-market guitar for the Wii system. Street price is about half what the original Activision guitar costs.

Weaknesses: The /- button placement "could" be better.

Summary: I really like this guitar. It cost ~$30 shipped from Am@zon. This thing is styled after the telecaster. The fret buttons feel nice, good response, neck shape is comfortable. Strum button moves freely and feels solid. The whammy bar works well. My whammy bar was snug and stays where it's rotated.Wiimote fits into the compartment nice and snug. The guitar is shipped in one piece and you cannot easily detach the neck. The included adjustable strap does what it's meant to do, has decent range of adjustment. The white model comes with a black pick guard installed and an extra pink pick guard. A small allen key is included in the wiimote cover used to remove the pick guard. My only complaint is the location of the and - buttons. They could have located them in a better spot for easier access. But I do like where these buttons are located based on telecaster stylish reasons.I chose the white model over the yellow so the wiimote is more inconspicuous.Overall, I think the Nyko FrontMan Guitar for the Wii offers a solid replacement or after market alternative compared to the original. I would not hesitate to buy another one. It's an excellent deal if you can find it for under $30.
