Strengths: Very Good Service; good cooling capacity

Weaknesses: Very cheap foam window kit(the worst)

Summary: I received my unit and noticed the coolant had leaked and soaked the external box. PriceGrabber had the damaged unit picked up within a few days and a new unit shipped out. Based on the price (and inconvenience), the unit should have been shipped with a more durable, sliding plastic window kit -- vice the horrible foam kit. The foam kit is very unattractive, it does not hold the exhaust hose properly and it is very difficult to keep in place. Additionally, due to its short length, two sections had to be tapped together in order to span a 31" window.

Summary: If this unit come with plastic sliding window kit would become perfect. The one included is horrible foam windows kit.The foam does not hold the hose properly. Suppentown sell as optional for plastic sliding kit about US$ 55 . Most other brands have nice plastic window kit as included.

Strengths: No water bucket to empty.

Weaknesses: This unit has no cooling capability whatsoever.

Summary: Bought this for a spare room, compared to the old one I have which is only 9,000 BTU, this thing is non-functional. It cools the room down by one degree per hour. The old Mobilair cools the same room so much faster, however I have to empty the water reservoir every 6 hours or so. Bought it from newegg.com with $50 shipping, tried to return it less that 3 days after delivery and willing to lose the shipping costs, found out too late that this item is non-returnable. Save your money and buy something else.
