The Maytag 25 Cu. Ft. Ice2O French Door Refrigerator, is the first refrigerator to offer a filtered external ice and water dispenser! In addition to this unique feature, this model also offers a beverage chilling compartment, to ensure that your favorite sodas and juices are always ice cold. Many storage options are also included, such as the Wide-N-Fresh deli drawer, and the elevator shelf, which rolls up and down to accomodate larger containers which otherwise would be impossible to fit. The 25 Cu. Ft. Ice2O is also the refrigerator with the largest capacity among other leading brands. This is the perfect purchase for anyone who has a large family, or just needs a little extra storage space.

Summary: This is a very nice fridge and we are extremely happy with this fridge. You can read all the good things about this fridge at maytag's home page. I am going to list only the things I don't really like about it. 1. Water BLASTS out of the dispenser. Not necessarily a big deal unless your water container has a small opening or you just miss your opening. Then the water splashes all over. 2. No crushed ice. Ice shape is half moon, and there really is no way of telling if the pieces will land in your container or not, even for standard sized glasses/cups.This is probably the most annoying thing about this fridge in my mind. The external ice/water dispenser is actually one of the reasons why we chose the Maytag over the others. This fridge has a pretty shallow opening, which allows you to tilt in virtually any sized container. Many models seem to have the dispenser opening set much deeper into the door than the Maytag, which seemed like it would limit you on the size of container you can get in the opening. 3. Ice container is hard to remove from the storage compartment(door partially blocks it), and it's small. When you remove it, it typically is full of ice and spills over the sides when the container is completely out of its storage compartment. 4. You have to open both fridge doors to access the "wide and Fresh Deli drawer."
