Summary: If you've invested a couple of hundred dollars in a PSP, you probably want to protect your investment with a decent carry case. While most cases closely follow the lines of (and resemble) the PSP itself, Intec has created yet another large aluminum case with separate compartments for all of your games, accessories, etc. Not content with just the case, Intec also includes an auto power adapter, ear phones, a three-UMD case, a vinyl peel screen protector and a system carry strap. Most consumers will probably consider 2-3 of these accessories to be junk they'll never use, but the car AC adapter comes in handy considering how power hungry the PSP is. Besides a few junk extras, the case itself has a couple of issues. It's big for a handheld case, but it's sectioned off so that you can't carry the original UMD cases. Some space is actually wasted (such as the raised PSP system platform), and no combination lock is included like on the larger systems cases (PS2, Xbox, Gamecube, etc.). If you're a new PSP owner, you're definitely going to want a carry case to protect your investment. For about the same price as the competition's more compact carry cases, Intec's pro gamer kit includes a bigger case and a variety of accessories. If you don't mind the larger size of Intec's aluminum case, you do get the added value of Intec's included accessories as well.
