Summary: This is by far the greatest accessory for the GameCube! This allows you to play any Gameboy/Gameboy Color/Gameboy Advance games on a normal sized TV, or an HDTV if you have one, with the use of the Nintendo GameCube. It's nice to be able to play awesome RPGs on a large sized TV. This item is rather expensive, like most Nintendo things. However, it is worth the price. This is an excellent to anybody's GameCube!

Strengths: No more wasting batteries on your GBA or recharging the pack on your GBA SP. The images are much larger but at the cost of a little graininess (not bad though).

Weaknesses: Can't find one yet...

Summary: The Gameboy Player is my favorite feature on the Gamecube. Best of all, if your Gameboy Player is the same color as your Gamecube, it doesn't look like there's anything attached to the console at all. I have used this player with all of my GBA games I love being able to play all of my favorite GBA games on a big screen.

Strengths: Adds hundreds of games to Gcn Library. Let's you play on a big screen.

Weaknesses: Screen Aspect ratio, matches gb ratio, which in turn requires a border around the screen.

Summary: The GB player is a brilliant device. It allows you to play virtually any game ever released for a gameboy system, on your gamecube. It consists of a unit that your Gamecube sits on and attaches to, as well as a boot disk that you put into your GCN as you would a regular game. Upon booting the GCN with the GBplayer disk, a menu is presented that allows you to change games, play, set a timer and various other options. GB games go into a slot at the bottom of the GBplayer unit, and eject with the slide of a switch on the side. The gb player also has a link cable port allowing multiple Gameboy Advance units to link to the Gamecube. The GB player is an excellent device allowing you the ability to play all of your old games on a bigger screen and in a more comfortable environment. It isn't a substitute for gaming on the go, but for at home sessions it's hard to beat. Advance Wars multiplayer games take on a whole new party-like atmosphere with 4 friends sitting around the tv. Highly recommended.
