Strengths: Good physics, graphics, challenge
Weaknesses: It can become almost frustratingly difficult once you unlock the next level autos.
Summary: Burnout 2 is unfortunately the last Burnout game to make the transition to the Cube, but it remains one of the better racers on the system. The core gameplay is great: tight controls (variable with the car used, of course), diverse group of cars, nice looking environments, and pretty solid physics. The learning curve was fairly steep in this game, in that the challenge was pretty consistent from the first race to the last in the initial cups.

Strengths: Best racing game on the Gamecube
Weaknesses: N/A
Summary: Burnout 2 adds to the excellence of Burnout by adding better graphics, and 2 new modes - police pursuit mode and crash mode. While crashing was always fun in Burnout, it was something you wanted to avoid in order to win the races. In the crash mode of Burnout 2, however, you are supposed to crash as spectacularly as possible, causing as much damage as you can. This is an excellent side game in addition to the main Championship mode. Unfortunately, EA decided that this game (produced by Acclaim before being taken over by EA) was going to be the last version for the Gamecube, thus making this the last, and greatest, Burnout title for the console. It is also probably the best racing game available for the Gamecube.

Weaknesses: not much replay value.. it's actually rather easy.. i finished first even the first time i played. ok graphics but not much variety
Summary: overall, the game is worth a rental and fun for a little while, but i would not recommend a purchase since it doesn't have much replay value and is rather easy.
