Rating: Time with product: 4 Days Strengths: Eliminated odorsFan noise not too loud Weaknesses: Fan mounts rattle loudly Summary: Neighbor?s cigarette smoke came through our vents making the air in our bedroom unbearable, but this purifier successfully cleared the odor. The fan is not too noisy considering its effectiveness. However, the mounts would rattle enough to make sleep difficult, and that is saying something considering we are sound sleepers. Our main concern is eliminating cigarette smoke. We do not suffer from any allergies, but certainly appreciate clean air. We do not want the trouble or costs of replacement filters, and thought this was the model for us. Unfortunately, the rattling is just too much. |

Rating: Time with product: 1 Strengths: Looks cool Weaknesses: Very loud...vibrates causing excess noise. Click sound when oscilating. Cleans poorly. Cleaning light never goes off...so i never know when to clean it. Hard to clean Summary: I'm just tired of spending money on expensive crap. This thing is very loud, works poorly but still cost around 200 dollars. Cleaning light never goes off. Vibrations and clicking add more annoying noise to this carpet weight. |

Rating: Time with product: 1 Strengths: Functional and modern design with low fan noise Weaknesses: Vibration noise from fans a problem and my unit failed to power on once. At that point, I returned the unit (this unti is essentially a GE design, under a similar name). Summary: Fan(s) are very quiet, but vibration noise from the fan mounts, echoed through the chasis of the unit are annoying because they're sporadic. It can become noisy enough to stop me from getting to sleep, even on the low setting. This is my second air purifier and am very frustrated with this one compared to a cheap $80 Honeywell. |
