This air purifier is ideal for cleaning the air in your room. It features quiet operation and uses filters that are readily available. The HAP242-UC has a 99% HEPA filtration with an independently controlled ionizer. It's a dual position machine, so you can place it horizontally or vertically. It has three speed settings and a 70 Clean Air Deliver Rate for a 10-ft x 11-ft room. The modular filter system takes one HAPF30 filter.

My girlfriend has very bad allergies and was always coughing and sneezing at night. Once I installed this in the room. Vola! No more sneezing or coughing. I don't have allergies, but I really did notice a difference in the quality of air in the room. It wasn't nearly as dusty. Also, in the sun light you can tell that's its working because there are very few dust particles in the air. Great product! I am looking to by another for other rooms / girlfriends room! Only problem with this air purifier is the cost of replacement filters. They can run up to $25 EACH. I however found a great deal at target and got 2 for $23 (Alternatively, you may get one for $15 at target).
