Weaknesses: Slows down your computer, Many flaws

Summary: The product installed alright but gave me internal Program Error (3038,104). After I spent many hours trying to fix the error, another problem seemed to appear!The product slows down your computer quiet a bit. I talked to norton they told me to make certain changes, but it did not improved performance much. At this moment, I am thinking of uninstallin and trying different antivirus softwares.

Summary: This product was delivered to me very fast, in less than 5 days. It blocks some virus. It is Simple to set up and easier to use than older versions. The a problem is that this program is way too big in size than other antivirus programs.

Weaknesses: other av is better

Summary: norton av 2008 takes so much to install and uninstall. I'm not even sure if uninstalling it completely remove it from my pc. I did not run an extensive test on av detection with it, but one thing i noticed was that it slows down my pc tremendously while using internet explorer. taking slow down in consideration, I can't recommend norton av to anyone with a slow pc. I'm using amdx2.

Strengths: detected some viruses

Weaknesses: too big program, drag the system slow

Summary: Symantec Norton is a very big name in this internet security field, that's why I got it first. The installation was easy and it worked. The bigest problem is that this program is way too big in size than other antivirus programs. I could feel the system running slower, and the CPU fan span more often. Maybe I need a new computer to run it.

Weaknesses: doesn't seem to stop all viruses

Summary: Norton 2008 was not successfully installed on my computer. I was using previous versions of it in past years and still got a virus that shut my computer down. I am looking at another form of virus protection.
