Rating: Time with product: 9 Months Strengths: This filters metalic taste and sediment very well. It is easy to replace old cartridges with a simple twist of the wrist. Weaknesses: I wish it lasted longer and that replacement filters (GXRLQR) were easier to purchase locally. Summary: I had wanted a filter on my fridge for many years, but a lot of the systems cost more than I could afford, or the replacement filters themselves were cost inhibative. This is a good solution for refridgerator water filtration. It is a fairly inexpensive addition, and installed very easily. I've had a little hassle getting replacement filters locally, but you can find them on the web for considerably cheaper than through GE. |
