Rating: Time with product: Strengths: All-in-One utility Weaknesses: Expensive; online storage is minimal Summary: I was building a computer for a neighbor, and wanted an all-in-one security/backup utility. I've used Symantec products in the past, and have been generally satisfied. They are quick to provide updates. This is basically norton internet security, anti-virus and backup software in one. It doesn't have Norton Ghost like facilities for imaging hard-drives. While the GUI is perfect for my non-tech neighbor, I'd prefer a few more knobs, as it does everything automatically for you. The difference between this standard Norton 360 and the Premier (from what I can tell) is that the later provides 10GB online storage, while this provides a measily 2GB. |

Rating: Time with product: 4 Months Strengths: Easy installation. Full protection. Weaknesses: slightly slows the computer Summary: Norton has a reputation of keeping computers safe, and this version is no different. Easy to install, my computer is safe against viruses from across the Internet. This software includes antivirus, firewall, antispyware, antiphishing, tuneup, and backup. It has everything you need in protecting your computer. Recommended for any computer. |

Rating: Time with product: 1 Day Strengths: Simple to download and upgrades available at a discount Weaknesses: None so far Summary: I have been looking for deals on this but unfortunately I missed my moment. Have had Norton previous and felt protected as much as possible. Never experienced any problems in the past so I decided to stick with it. Purchased it at Office Max for under $59.00. |
