Strengths: Spyware capability - If the product could be used!

Weaknesses: Disabled Internet access - Product doesn't work properly and no useful assistance is available from Norton

Summary: Upgraded two machines from Norton Internet Security 2005 to Norton Internet Security 2005 Antispyware Edition after successfuly using and updating Norton Internet Security on a number of computers for the past three or four years (and predecessor Norton products for the past 20 years). Internet access was disabled on both machines (and remained diabled after NIS 2005 ASE was turned off). After a number of frustrating hours testing suggested solutions from Norton web site the only solution that worked was turning off NIS 2005 ASE (and using alternative products). Absence of free help line support for product defects combined with the fact that an in-year upgrade disabled two machines which had been functioning properly with the earlier version of the same product has persuaded me to migrate to other vendors' products.

Weaknesses: Antispyware misses some spyware

Summary: Good product overall especially for the price. Very easy to install and run. User friendly and continuous upddates keep your computer secure.Upgraded from Norton Internet security 2003 and I am glad I did. This program is more user friendly, more features and better support.
